Garden design
Taking the plunge to change your garden can be daunting. Engaging a professional garden designer can really help you make all the right decisions on paper first. No charge for visits to gardens in Lewes, Kingston, Ringmer, Rodmell, Uckfield, Alfriston, Cooksbridge, Ditchling or Haywards Heath gardens.
- Measured Survey – This may be done in-house for smaller gardens or we can arrange for a specialist land survey company. The survey provides an accurate measured diagram of the existing garden, including changes in land levels.
- Design – Using the information from our discussions, the survey and photographs of the garden I will provide you with a master plan including sketched visuals, ideas for materials, structures, lighting and key plants.
- Guide to Costs:
- For small gardens (up to 150m2) allow approximately £500 – £800 inc VAT.
- For medium-sized gardens (up to 300m2) allow £800 – £1,200 inc VAT.
- Fees charged on an hourly basis, a full breakdown of costs will be supplied.
- Planting Plan – If you don’t want to plant the garden yourself then we can design the planting for you and provide you with a schedule of plants and a map of where they go in the garden. We can source the plants and plant the garden.
Following your approval of the design DG Landscapes will be happy provide quotations to construct your garden, including walls, terraces, steps, raised beds, structures and green roofs, lawns, ground preparation and planting – guiding you through the whole project, fro start to finish.
Hard landscaping
You may have a design for your garden or your own clear ideas for changes – either way we are happy to build it for you. With over 20 years experience in Landscaping we can provide a comprehensive quotation for all or part of the work, including driveways, patios, decking, walls and steps, fencing, gazebos and pergolas, ponds and more.

Soft landscaping and planting
DG Landscapes undertakes all aspects of soft landscaping including turfing, meadow seeding, raised beds and ground preparation. We can design planting, source trees, shrubs and perennials and set out and plant your garden.
If your existing borders have lost their pizzazz and need a refresh, we can provide a service to rejig existing planting and add new colour and structural plants, including ground preparation and planting.
